AEEDC Dubai 2008 was officially inaugurated on the 4th of March by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority. The UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition - AEEDC Dubai 2008, was held from 4th -6th March 2008 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. This three-day event is highly acclaimed for its uniqueness and remarkable growth year after year. AEEDC Dubai has established its identity and is known as the leading and the most popular dental gathering in the Gulf, Middle East & North Africa region. AEEDC Dubai has the esteemed support and is held in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority ? DHA, is in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Interior Naturalization and Residency Administration, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, supported by Charité University of Berlin, Health Management and Dental Horizons. The Dubai World Dental Meeting ? DWDM, had offered highly specialized dental educational courses designed essentially to facilitate the needs of dental professionals and enhance their proficiency among the various specialities of dentistry. These continuing dental programs were accredited and recognised by the Academy of General Dentistry. The invited International lecturers were enthusiastically presented the new procedures and techniques on a wide spectrum. The participants were able to achieve their learning objectives and were able to enhance their hands on experience. The AEEDC Dubai Night was held at the Endurance City, Bab Al Shams Desert Resort and Spa, 5th of March. The welcome address by Mr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of AEEDC and President of INDEX Holding marked the occasion, where with great pleasure, he announced the ongoing success of AEEDC Dubai and wholeheartedly expressed his gratitude to all the participants, exhibitors, speakers and invited guests who have constantly supported and dedicated their time and efforts to this annual dental gathering. The FDI President ? Dr. Burton Conrod, also expressed his gratefulness and congratulation first and foremost to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, President of the Dubai Health Authority for encouraging meetings of a high calibre and very educative in nature, to flourish in Dubai ? UAE. He extended his appreciation to the organisers on the successful execution of AEEDC Dubai, just like the FDI Annual World Dental Congress, which was held in Dubai last October 2007. He also extended his heartfelt thanks to all those who have supported and contributed to make dental meetings in Dubai fruitful. The AEEDC 2009, will be held on March 10-12, 2009 in Dubai.
