In its official anniversary year, from 6 April 2010 to 31 March 2011, W&H will be even more active in the social realm by offering long-term support to SOS Children's Villages. At the launch of the anniversary year, W&H welcomed a children's group from SOS Children's Village Seekirchen on 8 April 2010. With the motto "I'm not scared of the dentist", the children had the opportunity to examine up-close the production of traditionally feared dental instruments and also to test them out. 	AEEDC DUBAI- March 9 - 11, 2010 UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition inaugurated H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of Dubai Health Authority inaugurated this morning, the fourteenth edition of the UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai 2010), at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition centre. His highness Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied with a number of ministers and local and international representatives from 120 countries during the opening ceremony along with heads of delegates and in the presence of Roberto Vianna, president of FDI. The two European companies are now to be joined by SciCan, a medium-sized Canadian company specialising in infection control in medical practices and employing 250 people. SciCan is the worlds largest producer of table top autoclaves. Together the group will be one of the ten largest dental equipment manufacturers in the world of innovative products for the dental and medical markets.
