Modular and sustainable 2D/3D concept The modular 2D/3D integration design of the KaVo Pan eXam plus, with flexible upgradeability of the panoramic device to 3D or remote X-ray function, facilitates a more detailed calculation of capital expenditure, in connection with diagnostic requirements and correspondingly offers a very high protection of investment. The indication-related volume selection - isolated performance of diagnosis (60 x 40mm), implantology (60 x 80mm) not only reduces diagnosis time, but also allows lower radiation doses and therefore offers a higher level of patient protection. Furthermore, the user may select standard resolution or high resolution, as required. Highest operating comfort Thanks to the SmartScoutTM function, the diagnostic region and imaging parameters can be easily and rapidly selected, via the 10-inch touch screen with intuitive user-interface. The system automatically adjusts to the set position. Thus, detailed positioning of volume is unproblematic, even with smaller volume sizes - and time-savings are also enjoyed. Thank to the versatile, integrated selection of diagnostic programmes, e.g. panoramic projections, TMJ presentation, segment images and BW view, the KaVo Pan eXam Plus virtually covers all clinical challenges and allows for differentiated analysis of findings. Innovative diagnostics and communication The integration of the KaVo Pan eXam plus into the present practice management software system, is performed by the versatile CliniView Imaging software. The generated images can be easily processed, analysed, administered and distributed using this software. The high-quality viewer software OnDemand 3D Dental, for 3D volume presentation and analysis, provides comprehensive print and DICOM functions, a comprehensive implant database and optional, additional modules for extended functions. Further development of OrthopantomographTM The KaVo Pan eXam Plus - a further development of the proven OrthopantomographTM, of which there are more than 50,000 installations throughout the world - not only provides acknowledged high image quality, long service-life, high operational safety and reliability, but also low maintenance costs.
