Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany, February 2023:
The International Dental Show in Cologne is the leading global trade fair and meeting point for dental business and this year is celebrating its centenary. From 14 to 18 March 2023, DÜRR DENTAL will be showcasing its highlights and latest news and developments in the areas of compressed air, suction, imaging, software, hygiene and prophylaxis at IDS under the motto “THE BEST, BY DESIGN – intelligent & sustainable solutions” in hall 10.1.
“We are looking forward to attending IDS 2023 and once again engaging in vital, face-to-face dialogue as well as presenting our latest innovations. IDS thrives on intensive communication between companies in the dental industry, qualified specialist retailers, dentists, dental technicians and their teams,” says Martin Dürrstein, CEO of DÜRR DENTAL and a member of the third generation of the family to lead this Swabian family company. “Our aim is to be the partner our customers rely on to provide them with the best dental products and services at all times.”
As part of this, DÜRR DENTAL is committed to ensuring a sustainable future for dentistry and offers innovative solutions that help to reduce consumption of resources and minimise environmental impact. With the brand-new VistaScan Mini View 2.0 image plate scanner, energy consumption, for example, is reduced by around 40%, while in the new generation of Tyscor suction units, it is lowered by up to 75%. What’s more, products from DÜRR DENTAL are designed to be particularly long-lasting as well as to be easy to repair and service. In addition to its products, DÜRR DENTAL’s locations are also becoming more sustainable – for example, the entire range of x-ray products is now manufactured in a fully climate-neutral manner.
When it comes to using digital x-ray equipment, the highly efficient VistaSoft imaging software, which was developed in-house, is absolutely essential and is at the heart of the digital dental practice. With VistaSoft, DÜRR DENTAL has succeeded in incorporating artificial intelligence into dental practices to make their day-to-day work more efficient. At IDS, the company will be presenting the very latest functions offered by AI technology which are further enhancing and speeding up the automation of diagnostic tasks and workflows. Over an area spanning almost 600 m2, visitors to IDS 2023 will be able to experience the intelligent and sustainable solutions offered by DÜRR DENTAL up close and personal at booths E 008, F 011 and E 020–F 029 in hall 10.1, as well as find out more about the influence these solutions will have on the future of dentistry.
