SHINING 3D Dental has announced the global launch of two new chairside dental 3D printers: Ceramix-Nano and AccuFab-Aris. Introduced as part of the company’s “Flow Into Future” launch, the two systems are designed to simplify daily digital dentistry workflows. They connect scanning, AI design, printing, and curing into a more efficient chairside process. Moreover, the official launch page highlights the goal of accelerating digital dentistry adoption through compact 3D printing solutions. Additionally, an integrated workflow is a key part of this goal.

The first major announcement is Ceramix-Nano, a capsule-based dental 3D printer created for permanent ceramic restorations. SHINING 3D Dental describes the device as a 2 kg printer with integrated curing. It can produce chairside permanent ceramic restorations in around 15 minutes. Designed for clinics looking to deliver faster restorative treatment, Ceramix-Nano supports applications including crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, and bridges of up to three units.

One of the key features behind Ceramix-Nano is Adaptive Pneumatic Stereolithography, or APS, a proprietary technology developed to improve the printing of high-viscosity, ceramic-filled materials. According to SHINING 3D Dental, APS uses pneumatic layer separation and real-time peeling-force control. This improves printing stability, precision, and structural integrity. Furthermore, the system can print a single crown in 8–11 minutes. This is followed by approximately three minutes of on-machine curing.

Ceramix-Nano also introduces a more compact approach to chairside production. Instead of requiring multiple devices, the system combines high-precision printing and an 80°C curing module in one small unit. Additionally, it is designed for portable use. SHINING 3D Dental notes that the printer can run with a compatible power bank. This gives clinics more flexibility in how and where they use the device.

The system uses LumiCera, a pre-measured ceramic resin capsule designed for chairside restorative work. SHINING 3D Dental states that LumiCera contains more than 50% ceramic filler content. It is FDA Class II 510(k) cleared for permanent intraoral use and is available in five VITA shades: BL, A1, A2, B1, and C2.

The second product, AccuFab-Aris, is a compact plug-and-print dental 3D printer designed for daily clinical use. It offers 34 μm precision and supports a wide range of applications, including restorations, dentures, surgical guides, splints, and models. With a footprint smaller than a laptop and a weight of 8.5 kg, AccuFab-Aris is built for practices that want to bring in-house production into everyday workflows. This comes without requiring a large installation space.

AccuFab-Aris features a 4K high-resolution LCD. It has a thermostatic build platform that automatically maintains 30°C and smart fail-safe sensors for real-time residue and NFC resin-tank detection. These features are designed to reduce operational errors, improve print success rates, and protect the hardware during daily clinical use. The printer also includes one-click auto-leveling, automatic Z-axis calibration, USB/Wi-Fi/Ethernet connectivity, and a health dashboard for monitoring resin tank and screen lifespan.

Both products are part of SHINING 3D Dental’s broader Scan. Design. Print. ecosystem, which combines intraoral scanning, cloud-based order management, AI or expert design services, nesting, slicing, printing, and clinical delivery in one connected digital workflow. For dental practices, this means fewer disconnected steps and less manual file handling. As a result, there is a smoother path from patient scan to final appliance or restoration.

According to the partner announcement, Ceramix-Nano is available in North America and Asia starting June 18. Availability in the EU and other regions will follow. AccuFab-Aris is not available in the North American market.

With Ceramix-Nano and AccuFab-Aris, SHINING 3D Dental is pushing chairside 3D printing toward a more compact, automated, and clinically practical future. By reducing production time and simplifying digital workflows, the company aims to help dental professionals provide faster treatment. This will improve in-house efficiency and offer patients a more convenient same-day care experience.
