The IDS has been shaping the future of dentistry for 100 years, and it will showcase its impact once again from March 14th to 18th, 2023. Dental News will be present in Cologne to celebrate the 100th anniversary of IDS.
The leading international trade fair for dentistry and dental technology will have around 1,700 companies from 60 countries. About 75% of the exhibiting companies come from outside Germany, proving the global charisma of the IDS. Italy, the Republic of Korea, France, Japan, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey, and the USA are expected to have the most important international exhibitor participation in Cologne.
The International Dental Show in Cologne from March 14-18, 2023, provides a great opportunity for team-building and continuing education. With the theme of “100 years of IDS – shaping the dental future,” the event celebrates successes in the practice and lab. The show offers an ideal environment for dental teams to experience new processes, materials, and instruments together. The IDS is a world-leading trade fair for the entire dental industry and provides the opportunity to directly connect with experts.
The 40th IDS will showcase innovations in digital dentistry and dental restoration, such as new tooth color materials, a larger selection of materials, and matrix systems for simpler contact point formation. Dentists can make informed decisions about preferred tooth color materials for dental restoration with the broad spectrum of information provided by the IDS. Other developments attracting attention include ceramics, zirconia, glass ionomer cements, compomers, composites, special bulk filling, and hybrid composites. Intra Oral scanners, 3D printing, CAD CAM units, bonding systems, and polymerization lamps will also be on display.
The IDS 2023 will showcase necessary tools, such as radiology and ultrasound prophylaxis units, hand instruments, and biomaterials, for periodontology based on the close link between oral health and overall health.
